The Heart of Katherine album group backing vocals singalong!

Kia ora friends and family!

As some of you may know I am currently recording some new songs for The Heart of Katherine as part of the album I intend to put out in the near future.

The album has themes of perseverance, family, friendship, and hope and to really do that justice I want to create a space for my family and friends to be involved in a creative way. I thought it would be really great to have a small bunch of people sing along as a group to a couple of parts of the songs so that it can be incorporated into the recording and really capture a unique and special vibe.

St Peters Cathedral have kindly gifted us the space to use for the evening Friday 24 of November to make this happen so this is just a little invite to let you know!

FYI do not need to be a good singer to be part of this, the goal is to just catch a vibe of a group singing along, not to create a "perfect" sound so if you are thinking hmmm this could be cool but I don't know if I am a good enough singer...YES, you are!

There are two songs I have in mind, one is called "Home" and the other is called "Carry On". I will follow up in the not to far future with demo versions of the songs so you can hear the vibe and the lyrics!

I expect this will take around an hour and a half and we will do a dinner out afterwards, either that or get some pizzas delivered to where we are.
